Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 13 September 2025
Crown Supplements is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone, applying the relevant standards and using tools to support accessibility across our site.
Compliance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines define criteria to make content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, helping to ensure our site works well for users of all abilities.
What We’ve Done / What’s Available
To improve accessibility and inclusivity, our site includes:
-
A widget (via Ally) that offers features like larger text, readable fonts, text alignment, color adjustments, greyscale, higher contrast, the ability to hide images, pause animations, highlight links, and assistive focus outlines.
-
Structured page headers, clear menus, and alt text for many images.
-
Policies and statements (e.g. returns, shipping, privacy) that are linked from the footer, making them accessible from every page.
-
Continuous updates and improvements to our site layout and functionality to align more closely with WCAG success criteria.
Known Limitations
While we strive to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA in full, there are some areas we are still improving:
-
Some older PDF documents may not fully meet accessibility standards (e.g. missing tags or structured headings).
-
Some videos on the site currently lack captions or transcripts.
-
Some interactive elements or third-party content may not yet work perfectly with keyboard navigation or screen readers.
-
Certain design or visual features may not meet contrast or focus visibility criteria in all situations.
